In response to the national spirit of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" and the promotion of enterprise transformation and upgrading, and to further integrate science and technology with the economy, the forum "Technological Innovation Leading to Expanded Investment Areas," hosted by the Overseas Investment Federation of the China Investment Association, was held on the morning of August 13, 2016, at the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Auditorium. Leaders from relevant units including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the China Investment Association, and the China Academy of Science and Technology for Development Strategy attended the forum, which was covered by dozens of mainstream media outlets.
